WASHINGTON - Los Angeles Clippers guard Patrick Beverley underwent a surgical procedure on his right knee on Wednesday and there's no immediate timetable for his return, local media reported.
The guard went on court to play against the New York Knicks on Monday, but he had missed the five games before that with a sore right knee. According to the Los Angeles Times, Beverley was sent back and had the surgery which will keep him out for a while.
Beverley's absence means that the Clippers will be relying more on guards Austin Rivers and Lou Williams.
The Clippers will take on the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday.
