Xi's article on reform of national supervision system to be published

BEIJING - An article by President Xi Jinping on deepening the reform of the national supervision system will be carried by the fifth issue of the Qiushi Journal, to be published Friday.
The reform on the national supervision system has achieved notable progress, said the article by Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission.
The reform has contributed to the Party's centralized and unified leadership over anti-corruption campaigns, thorough supervision over public power, as well as addressing both the symptoms and causes of corruption and consolidating the progress made in anti-graft campaigns, according to the article.
Xi stressed that the expanded reform on the national supervision system aimed to improve the efficiency of supervision over public power and everyone working at the public sector, demanding that the reform be pushed forward.
He also demanded that supervisory power be exercised in a standardized and correct manner and that officials with the disciplinary inspection and supervisory agencies be loyal to the Party and people.
