Chinese automaker Chang'an Auto is showcasing an intelligent vehicle that doesn't have rear-view mirrors. Instead, it has a small camera on both sides. Images are displayed on electronic screens inside the car to provide a better view for the driver.
European and Japanese regulations on this technology have been liberalized, and domestic regulations in China are in the pipeline. It is expected that mass production of autonomous driving technology can begin in 2025.
