China's COVID-19 vaccination rollout is progressing steadily, with more than 15 million doses administered so far, the National Health Commission said on Wednesday.
Currently, people working in customs and international transportation and domestic public transportation who have higher risks of infection are recognized as key groups with priority for vaccines.
The commission said this is because the priority of current prevention work is to reduce imported cases. The vaccination plan will be expanded to cover children and senior residents soon.
