Chinese cultural traditions showcased in Hunan

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, an event celebrating the first Furong Town Guochao Culture and Tourism Week unfolded on Tuesday and Wednesday in Yongshun county, in Hunan province's Xiangxi Tujia and Miao autonomous prefecture.
"Guochao" — a reference to Chinese traditional fashion, style and culture — was the central theme during the event, combined with some Western elements. For example, acapella and hip-hop dance routines were integrated with Peking Opera performances.
