Jinan holds sister-city cultural experience event in South Korea
A Chinese cultural experience event was organized by Jinan in its sister city of Suwon, South Korea on May 19, aiming to promote cultural exchange between China and South Korea as well as deepen mutual understanding and friendship between the peoples of the two countries.
Paper-cutting, an important part of traditional Chinese culture, is beloved for its unique artistic charm and exquisite craftsmanship. During the event, South Korean residents, students and teachers from Suwon University had the chance to experience paper-cutting firsthand. Under the guidance of professional instructors, participants created their own paper-cut works.
Qipao, with its elegant lines and cultural significance, showcases the unique charm of Oriental women. The event featured a special qipao display segment, allowing participants to appreciate the exquisite craftsmanship up close.
In addition, there was a qipao try-on area where South Korean people could try wearing the dresses themselves.
The event helped strengthened the friendship between the people of the Jinan and Suwon and fortified the bridge of cultural exchange.
