Rural women in Balanghu village, Wuzhong of Ningxia Hui autonomous region, built their own fried dough twist and pastry business.
Ma Haifeng, Party secretary of the village, organized a group of women who hadn't migrated for work to establish a common prosperity workshop for food production, cold storage and sales.
According to Ma, the workshop creates jobs for women in the village so they can support their families. It also brings together the "power of women" to help revitalize the countryside.
Ma said she hoped more of their products could be sold across the country and be recognized by more people.
