Hundreds of professionally trained Chinese volunteers have arrived in Mandalay to participate in the rescue efforts, after a 7.9 magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar on March 28. They are racing against time to save lives despite facing numerous obstacles, including local high temperatures that reach up to 40 C during the day.
