Sichuan official faces probe for suspected discipline and law violations

Ye Hanbing, vice-governor and director of the public security department of Sichuan province, has been placed under a disciplinary and supervisory investigation as announced by the country's top anti-corruption watchdog on Wednesday.
According to a statement, he is under investigation for suspected serious violations of discipline and laws. The Communist Party of China Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission are conducting the probe.
