Huawei, BAIC launch Stelato S9T car with Qiankun Intelligent Driving ADS 4

Huawei Technologies Co and Chinese carmaker BAIC have launched the Stelato S9T, the first touring car model in the Harmony Intelligent Driving portfolio. Co-developed by both companies, the model received over 5,000 orders within just one hour of its launch.
Yu Chengdong, Huawei's executive director and chairman of the device group, emphasized the vision behind the S9T. "This is a model I firmly insisted on creating—stunning to look at, spacious enough for all needs, stable in handling, effortless on long trips, and intelligent for greater peace of mind. We want everyone to experience something exceptional," Yu said.
As of Sept 16, cumulative deliveries of Harmony Intelligent Driving vehicles have reached 930,000 units. The brand has also maintained the highest average selling price among Chinese automotive brands for 14 consecutive months, Yu added.
Zhang Jianyong, chairman of BAIC, highlighted the strengthened partnership. "Huawei and BAIC have upgraded into a strategic community, focusing on five dedicated systems—team integration, R&D resources, manufacturing and supply chain, quality control, and sales network—to refine better products and deliver superior service."
He also noted that the Stelato factory can roll out a new vehicle every two minutes.
The Stelato S9T is among the first models equipped with Huawei's Qiankun Intelligent Driving ADS 4. The flagship 9-series sensing system includes 36 high-precision sensors—one 192-line lidar, three high-resolution solid-state lidars, three distributed 4D millimeter-wave radar arrays, and two 4D imaging corner radars—enabling clear long-range vision and full near-field coverage.
As of Sept 15, Huawei's Qiankun Intelligent Driving ADS has accumulated 4.02 billion kilometers of assisted driving.
