Guillaume Delvallée, Consul General of the Consulate General of France in Chengdu, Sichuan province said, "the expo serves as an opportunity to demonstrate that France is at the forefront of science, research, innovation, particularly in the fields of agriculture and floriculture."
They hope that the collaboration between China and France in the flower industry marks the beginning of further collaborations across different sectors of the economy, Delvallée added.
Laurent Mossan, business development director of Morel Diffusion SAS from France echoed similar sentiments, stating that they have a lot of plans to explore the Chinese market.
