On the same day, Tianjin unveiled its first metro train themed around local agricultural specialties, featuring products like Xiaozhan rice and Shawo radish.
The fair is one of 12 lead-up events to the 22nd China International Agricultural Trade Fair, due in Tianjin from Oct 17 to 19, which is expected to host around 3,000 exhibitors.
