Christie's presents preview of upcoming sales in Hong Kong

Christie's presented a preview in Shanghai Sept 20-21 of artifacts to be sold at three upcoming Asian Art Week sales in Hong Kong on Oct 30 and Nov 3.

This preview included highlights from the auction of Chinese porcelain and crafts as well as a series of Chinese paintings and calligraphy.

Christie's Asian Art Week sales will feature a strong lineup in the Chinese classical paintings and calligraphy section, consisting of over 300 works of art, including more than 130 pieces of ancient calligraphy and painting, and 180 pieces of modern and contemporary calligraphy and painting. 

It will bring together masterpieces from many great artists such as Fu Baoshi, Xu Beihong, Li Keran, Wu Changshuo, and Qi Baishi.
