China, EU should be force for world stability, certainty: Chinese premier

NEW YORK -- Chinese Premier Li Qiang said Wednesday that China and the European Union should uphold fairness and justice, and be a force for stability and certainty in the world.
Li also called on both sides to adhere to strategic autonomy and play a more constructive role in global affairs.
Li, who is in New York to attend the general debate of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly, made the remarks in his meeting with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
