Laura Hassink, managing director for scientific, technical and medical journals at Elsevier, told China Daily in an exclusive interview that China is becoming a leading research nation across various disciplines, with more results of original innovation from zero to one being published. "We definitely see a growing number of research articles from China these years. More importantly, we see that the quality continues to ascend," Hassink said. "It makes the impact of the Chinese published articles growing."
