Zambian ambassador visits Nantong Vocational University

Zambian Ambassador to China Iven Zyuulu and Education Counselor Linda Namakando visited Nantong Vocational University on Sept 19 and attended a forum for African students.
Chu Jinxing, president of NTVU, welcomed the delegation and highlighted the university's achievements in vocational cooperation with African countries. He emphasized NTVU's commitment to developing skilled talent for African nations through customized programs and practice-education integration, promoting joint training for both African and Chinese students.
African student representatives shared their academic experiences and career goals, receiving insightful feedback from the ambassador and counselor. Ambassador Zyuulu praised NTVU's educational initiatives and encouraged African students to develop their skills to advance Africa's development when they return home.
Moreover, the ambassador showed interest in boosting cooperation between Zambia and NTVU, highlighting the connection between Zambia's industrial talent needs and NTVU's vocational training expertise. He promised to support partnerships between NTVU and Zambian institutions and enterprises.
The delegation also visited NTVU's training base, learning about its practical teaching and industrial collaboration approaches.
