Other Global South countries can unlock their development potential by learning from China's path to modernization and amplifying their voice on the global stage, according to a renowned scholar.
Justin Yifu Lin, honorary dean of the Institute of South-South Cooperation and Development at Peking University, said that China's success can inspire confidence and broaden horizons for other Global South countries in pursuing development. He argued that China's four global initiatives help Global South countries enhance their international voice.
Lin made the remarks at the Global South Modernization Forum, which was held in Beijing on Friday.
