Haier's net income for 1st 9 months up 60%

Qingdao Haier Co said its net income may have risen more than 60 percent in the first nine months of the year from 966 million yuan ($145.2 million) a year earlier after sales increased, Bloomberg reported on Thursday according to a statement from the Chinese home appliance maker to Shanghai Stock Exchange.
