Making its asian debut in Shanghai, the model will be produced at PSA Peugeot Citroen's joint venture with Dongfeng Motor Corp and serve as the partnership's first strategic model to tap the medium and high-end market.

It is reported that the volume products will have two engine options the 2.0-liter and 2.3-liter. It is fitted with either a six-speed automatic or five-speed manual transmission.
