Jack Ma, founder and chairman of Alibaba Group, refuted the remarks that the three internet giants Baidu Inc, Alibaba Group Holding Ltd and Tencent Holdings Ltd have monopolized the whole internet industry, making it difficult for other market players to survive.

He said that in mapping out the future strategy, Alibaba has to consider what the biggest problem for society is in the next two decades.

Given the severity of smog and environmental pollution, health will be a big concern in the next one or two decades, and various forms of input in health will help solve the problem, he said.
