Imane Houda Feraoun，Algeria's Minister of Post and Information and Communication Technologies, attended the opening ceremony of the third World Internet Conference in Wuzhen, East China's Zhejiang province, on Wednesday.

She said the most important point in President Xi Jinping's keynote speech, via video, was that he called for significant importance to be placed on making the internet available for everyone, in a safe way.

"The governance of internet is of paramount importance for our economy and the future of our politics," she said.
