Farmer collects cash for massacre memorial

An elderly farmer from Guangfeng County, Jiangxi Province, has collected
20,000 yuan (US$2,466) to build a small memorial in the county to educate local
people about a massacre committed by Japanese troops in his village in 1942.
Zhou, 74, a survivor of the attack, has visited primary and middle schools
across the county to tell youngsters about the massacre.
