NBS launches CBD confidence index
( 2002-01-04 10:30 ) (1 ) China's National Bureau of Statistics and Beijing Central Business District (CBD) have jointly launched a "CBD Confidence Index", according to NBS officials. The standard index number is 100. Above is positive, and below is negative. The latest index for China, Asia and the world economy in the next three years are 138.1, 111.6 and 109.2 respectively, while Beijing is at 138.7 in the next 12 months. Central business district was put forward in The Urban General Plan of Beijing Municipality in 1993.
