Asian pop diva Fay Wong ended her honeymoon trip to Thailand and returned to Shanghai with her second husband, mainland actor Li Yapeng, early Tuesday morning.

But the couple had to separate from each other soon after their arrival, with Wong heading for Beijing to finish shooting an ad and Li staying in Shanghai to run his bar business.

The celebrity couple began their Thailand trip a week after they registered their marriage in Xinjiang, where Li's home is, July 28.

But reports said the honeymoon was spoiled by paparazzi from Hong Kong and the mainland who staked out the newlyweds at the Banyan Tree Hotel in Phuket. As a result, the couple spent most of their time in hiding.

However, Wong and Li appeared to be happy and relaxed at the airport in Shanghai.
