Lei Feng spirits marked throughout China

Two employees from a bus company in
Xi'an, capital of northwest China's Shannxi Province take part in
voluntary activities on March 4, 2006. To mark the "Day for Learning from
Lei Feng," which falls on March 5 every year, various activities have
been launched throughout the country. Lei Feng was a well known
soldier who had become China's most famous symbol of sacrifice for others.
Lei Feng was born in 1940 in central China's Hunan Province. and died on
August 15, 1962, in an accident at the age of 22.
