Chemicals in plastic alter the brains of baby boys, making them "more feminine," say researchers from the University of Rochester, the US, BBC reported. They found boys exposed to high doses of chemicals called phthalates while in the womb were less likely to play with boys' toys like cars or to join in rough and tumble games. Phthalates are widely used in household plastic items. |
