10月26日至29日，黨的十八屆五中全會將在北京召開，研究關于制定國民經(jīng)濟和社會發(fā)展第十三個五年規(guī)劃的建議。回首“十二五”，成果豐碩，是實現(xiàn)第一個“百年目標”的重要里程碑。

The Communist Party of China (CPC) will convene the fifth plenary session of its 18th Central Committee to outline the 13th Five-Year Plan (2016-2020) for national development on Monday. Under the leadership of the CPC, Chinese people have laid a firm foundation to accomplish the first Centenary Goal of comprehensively building a moderately prosperous society by 2020.
10月26日，中國共產(chǎn)黨將召開十八屆五中全會，制定國民經(jīng)濟發(fā)展的十三五規(guī)劃。在中國共產(chǎn)黨的領導下，中國人民已為實現(xiàn)第一個“百年目標”，到2020年全面實現(xiàn)小康社會，奠定了堅實的基礎。

“百年目標”用Centenary Goal 表示，是黨的十八大提出的一項奮斗目標。第一個百年目標（the first Centenary Goal）指到中國共產(chǎn)黨成立一百年時，全面建成小康社會（build a moderately prosperous society），第二個百年目標（the second Centenary Goal）是指到新中國成立100年時（2049年）建成富強、民主、文明、和諧的社會主義現(xiàn)代化國家（build a modern socialist country that is prosperous, strong, democratic, culturally advanced and harmonious）。

26日，黨的十八屆五中全會（the Fifth Plenum of the 18th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China ）在北京召開，研究關于制定國民經(jīng)濟和社會發(fā)展第十三個五年規(guī)劃（13th Five-Year Plan ）的建議。回首過去五年，盡管國際社會環(huán)境復雜，中國在許多領域都取得重大進展，經(jīng)濟穩(wěn)定增長（stable economic growth），社會和諧穩(wěn)定（harmonious and stable），改革成果顯著，為實現(xiàn)第一個百年計劃奠定了堅實的基礎（lay a firm foundation）。
