7月20日，第11屆世界游泳錦標賽結束第四天爭奪，今天一共產生了四枚金牌，美國名將，2000年悉尼奧運會該項目冠軍威爾金森獲得女子十米跳臺冠軍，亞軍被澳大利亞名將圖爾基獲得，中國小將賈童獲得銅牌。外電報道如下：Defending champion Emilie Heymans of St-Lambert, Que., held the lead going into the final of the 10-metre platform diving event Wednesday at the world aquatic championships.
Heymans was second to American Laura Ann Wilkinson after the preliminary and semifinal rounds, but only points scored in the semifinals are carried into the final. In the semis, Heymans led with 195.90 points after four strong dives. Tong Jia of China was second with 191.85 and Wilkinson was third with 188.97.
