Gaojia opera is a form of local opera in South Fujian. It is popular among regions speaking Southern Min dialect in the Chinese mainland, Taiwan and ethnic Chinese-inhabited regions in Southeast Asian countries. Ke-style male clown performing is the most special school of Gaojia opera. In this style, clown is the protagonist, depicting beauty with comedy.
