A community development project led by China Vanke Co will break ground following a year of planning and design. The project, which covers an area of 510,000 square meters, will serve as a business and residential district with public facilities such as kindergartens and primary schools. Vanke will build the region into an advanced environment-friendly community.
First-stage construction will cover an overall floorage of 300,000 square meters, 218,000 of which will be residential land. The region will provide housing for nearly 12,000 people in 2015.
The project was designed to be low-cost, energy-efficient, and environmentally-friendly.
