The First Chilechuan Economic and Trade Fair saw agreements signed for 16 projects worth 13 billion yuan ($1.95 billion), Baotou Daily reported on Aug 21.

The fair was held at Tmud Right Banner, Baotou city, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, and was aimed at boosting economic links and trade cooperation.

More than 200 entrepreneurs attended the fair. The 16 projects included bio-fertilizer, clean coal production and research, and the construction of an integrated logistics park.

The entrepreneurs were also shown around the planning exhibition gallery and the new industrial park of Tumd Right Banner during the fair.
