Jiangzhou Tixi, also known as Yundiao, is a kind of carved lacquerware workmanship in the county of Xinjiang, Shanxi province. It's famous for the vivid patterns and smooth moiré found on it. As one of the traditional Chinese carved lacquerware arts, Jiangzhou Tixi is a complex manufacturing process, and takes several months, even as long as one or two years, to make.

Nowadays, hit badly by modern artware technology, Jiangzhou Tixi is facing severe challenges.

In 2011, Jiangzhou Tixi workmanship was listed as a National-level intangible cultural heritage protection program, bringing the traditional art an opportunity for its revival. During recent years, Xinjiang county has been making consistent efforts to promote the one-thousand traditions by implementing an inheriting and protection work program, and also actively expanding its foreign markets.
