The Ode to Yao, an historical music and dance drama about Emperor Yao was staged on April 2, during the first Emperor Yao Tourism Festival in Linfen, Shanxi province.
According to historical records, Emperor Yao, an emperor in Chinese Three Sovereigns and the Five Emperors, has established his capital in Linfen, then called Pingyang, about 4,500 years-ago.
