SAINT PETERSBURG, Russia - The visa-free talks between Russia and the European Union (EU) is not a political issue, but rather an economic and humanitarian affair, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Monday.
Speaking at the 29th Russia-EU summit here, Putin said that the visa obstacle blocks the way of a "true" strategic partnership between the EU and Russia.
