The 2025 China International Emergency Management Exhibition will be held in Beijing from Nov 18 to 20, with more than 300 companies confirmed to participate, officials said on Thursday.

Hosted by the International Exchange and Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Emergency Management, the exhibition will provide a platform for international cooperation in natural disaster prevention and emergency response.

At a briefing on Thursday, Zhang Xiaoning, director of the center, said this year's event will feature six major sections, including aviation and unmanned emergency equipment, emergency management information technology, and urban safety technology and equipment, as well as comprehensive firefighting and rescue equipment. Compared with previous editions, it will showcase a wider range of displays, according to Zhang.

The exhibition is also an important initiative to advance the cooperation mechanism under the Belt and Road International Cooperation Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction and Emergency Management. "It is expected to play an exemplary role in enhancing global disaster prevention and emergency response capabilities," Zhang said.

Ramiro Cruz, Nicaragua's ambassador to China, appreciated the support of Chinese companies in helping build Nicaragua's emergency management system.

"Together, we are building not only infrastructure, but also confidence, resilience, and hope for the people of Nicaragua," he said.

Noting that Nicaragua faces multiple types of natural disasters, he emphasized that the "only effective response is international cooperation where knowledge, technology, and resources are shared for the common good".

Misak Balayan, consul of Armenia's embassy in China, also spoke at the briefing, introducing cooperative projects between Armenia and China on emergency management and underscoring the importance of international collaboration in this field.

A series of activities will be held alongside the exhibition, including business matchmaking events and technical roadshows targeting key application scenarios.
