PHNOM PENH -- The Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy ships Qi Jiguang and Yimengshan arrived in southwest Cambodia's Sihanoukville on Friday, starting a four-day goodwill visit to the country.
The ships in the Navy's 83-ship fleet, which were carrying out an internship visit at high seas, docked at the Sihanoukville Autonomous Port pier at around 10 am local time amid a warm welcome.
More than 300 people, including staff members of the Chinese Embassy and Consulates in Cambodia, representatives of Chinese-funded institutions, overseas Chinese, and representatives of the Cambodian government and military, came to the pier to greet the vessels.
